I'm a student at Bronx Academy Senior High in the Bronx.MY Name is Asheika,I’M very independent also very determined at what ever i do to reach my goal. I would like to graduate and go to college to build a better life for me and my son. I was born March 11, 1992 and my mother raised me in the Bronx. At the age of 15 I got pregnant with my first child ,this was a turning point for me because I realized bringing a baby into this world is taking a big step to becoming a full-time parent. I recently moved from the Bronx and am currently living in Brooklyn.

When I come to school I come to get work done so I can pass my classes. I’m very interested in two subjects which are science and English because as students we begin to learn more and experience what is being taught to us as students. Science is one is one of my favorite subjects because we do experiments and labs to learn more about the subject which I find very amazing and a good exercise for me. I never participated in any extra curricular activities because I just wasnt into none of the activities. I always was focused on getting to school and attend to the work I was assigned to do. my second favorite subject is english because there's a lot of different exercise you can learn to do such as reading ,learning how to build a person writing skills and to understand the concept.

When im not in school I like to spend most of my free time with my son and go places. I also like to go shopping ,im very attracted to materialistic things. At one point I was good at dancing I started in middle school ,I was attending a dance class and improved my skills.
