I am a 15 year old student who attends Green Dot Charter school in the Bronx. Something that you should know about me is I’m Senegalese and Muslim. Nothing important has happened to me that’s has been a turning point in my life, yet I’m still waiting on that to happen to me. I have lived in Senegal during the summertime with my grandmother. We bonded a lot during my vacation in Senegal my grandmother and I planted seeds in her garden, took strolls around a forest, and sat outside at night just talking and listening to the crickets crick, and enjoying the nice summer breeze.

What I like to do in school is play games and for educational purposes. I also like having class discussions about interesting topics that we are learning about in class. An extra-curricular activity I do at school is cooking; I joined the cooking club and learned how to make new delicious dishes. Also during the Spring time I will try-out for the Girls softball team and hopefully I will make it. in school something that I’m good at is getting most of my work done most of the time.

Something I enjoy doing outside of school is cooking my family dinner, going to the movies with friends, and just being home alone in my dark living room watching scary movies eating lots of junk food; I find that really relaxing. I’m good at doing things on time and setting myself a schedule so I don’t waste time doing one thing. I’m not too sure how I got this way; but I guess I was just born a organized person.
