Hi, my name is Sage and I’m a high school student at Okemos High School in Okemos, Michigan who loves to play volleyball. Competing in track is another one of my favorite activities. I am a hurdler and in my opinion it makes track more enjoyable because of its added challenge.

Also, photography is a big part of my life and an activity that I do in my free time. I love reading mysteries because the suspense keeps me wanting to know more and usually there is an unpredictable twist at the end.

My favorite color is aqua, like the color of the ocean surrounding the Bahamas. Two years ago I went to the Bahamas and the ocean’s beautiful color really stood out to me and that is why it is still my favorite color to this day.

“Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive that is youer than you.” This quote was written by Dr. Seuss and it’s one of my preferred quotes. It tells me to stay true to myself and to enjoy the fact that I’m an unique individual.
