Sharifa

I'm a graduate of the East-West School of International Studies in Flushing, NYC.
Hi! My name is Sharifa. As you know from my brief biography, I was raised in Queens. I love New York so much; I would die if I had to leave. I love watching TV and lazing around doing nothing (hehe). I can be a jerk sometimes, and I can also be super duper nice, depends on my mood.

I grew up in Queens.I love watching Cartoons (in fact, that's all I ever do).

Hi! My name is Sharifa. As you know from my brief biography, I was raised in Queens. I love New York so much; I would die if I had to leave. I love watching TV and lazing around doing nothing (hehe). I can be a jerk sometimes, and I can also be super duper nice, depends on my mood. I absolutely love to draw like, that’s actually what I want to do as a profession for when I’m older :D. I have two poems that reflect my past and present and their called "Runs with feet" and "draws with pencil"

Draws with pencil

Draws with pencil,
looks down and smiles proudly
Draw with pencil
Shows her friends and peers her creation
some criticized her
some appreciate her
others simply loved it
she hangs it up on the bulletin board
showing off her art
people clapped
and cried
Draws with pencil did it again.

Fast with feet

Put one foot in front of the other getting pumped
She waited for the whistle
"1,2,3 blow"
Fast with feet ran
As fast as she can past all the others
Fast with feet saw the finish line
In clear view
One there
She received her medal and redeemed herself as
 Fast with feet

These two poems reflect my past and present. “Runs with Feet” is about when I was younger, and on a track team. I won a medal while running in a race it felt really good. “Draws with Pencil" is talking about how I currently am now. As I said before, I love to draw (I have a sort of manga style) and the poem talks about a time where I proudly put my artwork up on a bored for everyone to see.
